The Volvo C30 (Test Drive, Jan. 4) is an example. A car you might just up and buy because of how it looks and feels (great). Never mind it’s too small for most people, and too expensive, by most people’s standards.
Volvo’s XC70, redesigned for 2008, is like that. So easy and pleasant to drive, you’ll be drawn to it even if it’s not what you set out for.
